I am planning to purchase one of the HTML5 themes. I'm a bit confused as to when one might want to use the snippets. I wish they would provide example scenarios. 😐 For example, there is a snippet provided for:

HTML5 >> Enable HTML5 Markup - Is this snippet already included with themes marked as HTML5 , or does it need to be added?

Also, I assume the rest of the HTML5 related snippets are meant for adding or removing elements from HTML5 themes only, is this correct? They include the following:
    Entry Content (HTML5)
    Entry Footer (HTML5)
    Entry Header (HTML5)

I am referring to the snippets found at > Code Snippets" target="_blank">

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi ya, Zubird:

I am PRETTY SURE that any HTML5 child theme you buy is ALREADY going to have HTML5 enabled already, so I don't think that snippet is meant for the newer (HTML5) child themes.

Instead, I think it is for the older themes. that code would allow older themes to use the NEWER snippets of code, which are designed to work on html5 themes.

So I would suggest buying an html5 theme and relaxing.

Of course, genesis / studiopress doesn't really give much context, as you noted above, so I could be wrong.

    Hope this helps.
