    Hello

    This may seem a dumb question, I know what HTML 5 is but not sure of its use with regards to my blog. I am fairly new to blogging and css etc, and I am not sure as to what benefits it gives me.

    I am currently using the Modern Portfolio Pro theme and can see the html when I inspect the element, but if I want to change something, is it only through css I can do this? Can I make changes to the html, if so where do I do this?

    Can anyone provide a simple explanation to a non coder/developer?

    HTML% is the new HTML coding standard. That is all.

    It makes no difference in how you edit the theme files.
