There's a new version of the Going Green child theme, but I can't figure out how to update it on my side. I downloaded the zip file but there's nothing in my wordpress to let me "update". How can I install this new version? Thanks!

    Hi,

    there is no update path.
The new version is a new child theme.
If you are switching from Going Green to Going Green Pro you can install the new child theme through Appearance - Themes - Add New.
You will have to transfer settings and layout of your old theme to the new version.

Sorry - I currently have Going Green Pro and am trying to update from v 3.0 to v 3.1. When I try to add the zip file I get the message that the destination folder already exists.

I'm not sure if it is worth the trouble to update from 3.0 to 3.1.
The update might just have removed the alternative rem values for font sizes...
I don't have the old version at hand, so cannot check.

If you want to go ahead with the update, you will have to rename your existing theme folder to something like going green old (which will change the theme of your website automatically because the "current" theme does not exist anymore), install the new version and activate it.
After that you will have to re-apply the changes / customizations you've made to the previous version.
