    Hi,

Today I saw that Atomic Blocks need to be migrated to Genesis Blocks. I read the migration documentation and one step is to update the genesis child theme. I'm using Essence Pro and see that my current version is 1.3.0 and if I look at Studio Press, the latest version is 1.5.0 (dd 10/19/20)

In my WordPress backend I do NOT see an update for my theme, so I'm wondering why. Normally the update should be available.
Does this mean that i have to uninstall my current version and install the new one (what about all the settings from the current site) or is there a way to 'force' the update to the new theme.

Hope someone is able to help me.

    Regards,
    Jay

If you download and unzip the latest file, inside is a Readme.txt file the changelog is at the bottom and it will tell you what's been updated in the latest version.

Themes do not get updated through the Themes area. It's a manual function that you will need to do. That's why looking at the changelog will be important.
