    I was attracted to this theme because it freezes the site title and menu in a thin bar at the top of the page.

    If I add anchors, however, the first several lines of text are hidden under this thin bar, making the anchors useless.

    I could see how their theme has the same problem, but there is no solution there.

    Update this section of your stylesheet:

    remove: position: fixed;

    I tried your fix, but it turns the header to black and on some inner pages, the header and menu are gone completely.

    I think at this point, it will be easier to change themes. Lesson learned. I stick with Studiopress themes only.
