I am having trouble putting a space between my paragraphs in my posts.
Please advise.

It is really strange, worked nicely when I added it in text mode, save it and preview it.
Then when I return to visual mode and preview, the line spaces have disappeared and also disappeared back in text mode.Please help

you can try what Ipstenu is suggesting here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-make-the-editor-stop-removing-blank-lines?replies=16#post-1715730or try the plugin TinyMCE Advanced (probably have to change something in the settings) and see if it fixes it.
