So, I'm using the Genesis Simple Sidebars to create a new sidebar to display my cooking videos for my recipe website. I created a new sidebar called "How To Cook" and got it working. The problem I am having is that I can't figure out how to change the content per post. I tried using a plugin called Feature Video Plus that allows you to replace the featured image with the featured video in the edit post screen, but doesn't seem to be working either.

Diagrams help me visualize problems better so I thought I would attach one here as well.

    Any suggestions?

I use widget logic plugin like the Kellylise's recommendation to accomplish what you want. But it requires some basic knowledge of PHP if statement and WordPress conditional tags.
