    my website is ratracegrad.

I ran google page speed and my biggest glaring slowness on my website is the thumbnail created on the homepage for all my blog posts featured images.

On the home page it displays thumbnails of all the images using the format:
    http://i1.wp.com/www.ratracegrad.com/wp-content/uploads/make-money-with-solo-ads-without-a-ist.png?resize=150%2C150

Google page speed recommends setting a width=150 and height=150 on the image instead of a resize. Since this is auto generated by genesis, how do I change it to set width/height instead of resize when displaying thumbnails on the homepage?

It looks like the current 'actual size' of your generated thumbnail icons is currently 156x156 - so the load speed differential by changing that setting is going to be absolutely minimal, but it never hurts to optimize them if that is the size they will be.

To change the generated thumbnail size you can go to: Settings > Media -- and then change the thumbnail size width and height boxes to 150.

The media settings are already set at 150 x 150.

On the homepage of my website if you look at the source code for every thumbnail image generated for every post, it has code like this to display the image:
    http://i1.wp.com/www.ratracegrad.com/wp-content/uploads/make-money-with-solo-ads-without-a-ist.png?resize=150%2C150

Google page speed is indicating the addition of the ?resize to the image is slowing the load time for my website. It wants to have it specify a width and height instead of the ?resize.

How do I change so that the ?resize goes away and it specifies a width and height of 150?

Sorry, I see the problem now... basically it's using your "featured image" as the icon. So if the featured image is of a large size, it's just sizing that down to 150x150. I don't know off the top off my head where it is, but I would imagine you would just need to have the featured image icon be replaced with the thumbnail version rather than the full size scaled. Sorry, not sure where that is.
