    Hi -
I would like my homepage (http://malandarras.com) to show an image, text blurb and opt-in box only. No header, no footer or any other element.

To do this, I have set my homepage to a static landing page and set the static page's attribute as "Landing Page".

When I view the homepage, the main header with nav and the footer are showing. It doesn't look like the Landing Page template is being used.

When I preview the page by itself, the Landing Page is being used just fine. (no header menu or footer)

How can I force the homepage to use the Landing Page template?

    Thanks,
    M

    Hi there,

    #1 - Backup your front-page.php file
    #2 - Delete your front-page.php file
#3 - Set a static page as the homepage (a page that uses the landing page template)

#4 - let me know if it worked 🙂

    KR,
    Will

That worked perfectly. If anyone else has this problem - William's response fixed it for me.

    Thanks William!
