Within the the Metro theme, I'm trying to have multiple pages of blog posts by specific category. I'm using a custom field to add the "query_args" which allows me to only show posts from a specific category. I'm using the "blog" template. This works great, except that I do not get page navigation after the last post on the page. I only get this navigation if I select that specific page to be the "blog" page in the general "Reading" settings.

Is there any way to have multiple pages that use the "blog template" and get navigation to work?

Currently I have the site using this page as the "blog" page for the site. So the navigation is displaying.

    Thanks,
    Keith

Did you set somehow a navigation through the theme or via wordpress default panel?

I'm referring to the archive post page navigation at the bottom of the page.

I should have said pagination, not navigation. The pagination only works when the page is set to be the sites "blog" page.

In fact, here is the tutorial I used to do what I"m trying to do. It works great, aside from the pagination and it only shows 6 posts, regardless what I set it to.

OK, I discovered this was user error. Another author in the site changed my categories and didn't tell me. So problem solved. Sorry for the post.
