    In the Custom Header Image, the stated maximum size is 320 by 65. But I'd like a bit larger of an image, like Sharon has on her site here: http://freshcitymarketing.com/ .

    How can I do that?

    Thanks.

    Here is sort of what I want to do, though this is the old version of Eleven40:

    Adding to @KenTheriot topic - I'm looking for help on this question, too.

    I haven't yet updated to eleven40 Pro on my primary blog - http://www.nevillehobson.com - that is still running eleven40 1.1 and would like to use the header image as shown in that theme, not the different look of the Pro theme.

    I have Pro running on a test site - http://www.nevillehobson.com/sandbox2 - and I've tweaked the header image a bit there. Looks fine on a desktop browser (although what you see now isn't what I plan to use on the primary blog) but, boy, is it different on a mobile device, eg, a Galaxy SII smartphone!

    Thanks for asking the question, Ken, keeping an eye out for some tips...

    Open up your Functions.php file. Look for the header configuration. Change the numbers to the height/width of your image. Then look in the Style.css file for the Header Image and Text areas. Reconfigure the height/width to your measurements. Go back to Appearance > Header and upload your image.

    Anitac, I tried doing that and just ended up with a complete mess several times. What kept happening was that the larger graphic was just widening (actually, increasing the height) of the black header bar. I was trying to get the graphic to appear to extend over the bottom of the black header bar just like in the original Eleven40. But no dice. Oh well. We tried. I gave up, re-loaded fresh functions and style files, and simply created a header graphic of the default size (320x65 I think), and am using that.

    @Neville
    - It's similar to what you ended up with.

    That is satisfactory - at http://www.homebrewaudio.com - for the moment.

    Cheers,

    Ken
