I've been seeing some confusion where people are unable to find the instructions to setup their themes.

There is a Setup Box there on that page.
A link can also be found on the Downloads page. Click the "Theme Setup" link right next to the download link.
There are the theme setup tutorials. 🙂
If you get stuck with those, that is something we can help you with in the helpdesk. If you are looking to customize your theme, different to the tutorials, these are the questions you can ask here in the forums.
Please have a look at the Code Snippets and Tutorials sections under http://my.studiopress.com/ as well. For many themes, things like "adding a widget area" is an almost identical process and not specific to the theme itself.
