How far can I customized Genesis Theme & where to shop themes

Hi,

I hear great think about Genesis framework. Yet I'm used to see a lot of varieties and with the about 52 themes available on Genesis, I just feel I'm not quite finding what I would like... so this bring few questions.

1) How far can I customized a theme ? For instance I like this theme with this slider integrated behind the menu with the video : http://8grids.com/themes/prime/" is this something I could do with Genesis ?

2) Are other WordPress plugins (like a plugin Slider for instance) would work with Genesis or do I need to use Genesis own plugin ( I know there is plenty but still wondering about compatibility if I would like to use something else)

3) Is there other good places where we can shop for Genesis Child Theme ?

If you know php and css, you can do anything you want with Genesis and the Sample Child Theme, If you don't there are a number of plugins available for non-coders. You are not restricted to using only Genesis plugins, but they are written with the framework in mind. If you visit the Showcase, you can see a number of different themes that have been customized.

If you want to help an affiliate you can shop for Genesis Themes on a number of sites, you will still get the same price and the same theme.
