I want to set the category and author archive pages to index, follow. But I can't find a place to do that in any of the menu options in the system administration area.

I thought I remembered it being there at one time. Am I losing my vision or my memory?

I'm using the Church child theme.

If you have certain SEO plugins activated, your Genesis SEO settings are deactivated because they are handled by your SEO plugin.

If you don't have an SEO plugin activated, see Genesis->SEO Settings.

    Ohhh...

I thought I remembered seeing that setting somewhere. So I installed and activated Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin. So now I don't have access to the Genesis->SEO Settings screen anymore.

I can't seem to find the location in the WordPress SEO plugin where you can set archive pages to index, follow.

The is a box you can check off that allows for noindex/follow. I wonder if by, not checking that box, you are automatically set to index, follow.

    Do you know?

If you activate WordPress SEO, your Genesis SEO settings are no longer relevant, so the menu disappears.

See the Taxonomies tab of SEO->Titles & Metas. I don't think WordPress SEO gives you an option for index, follow on archives, though.
