    Hello,

    Totally new to wordpress and studiopress, so I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

    I found a header I like and want to use its style for my own wordpress site. The example I like is http://www.kathiminky.com

    I am using the generate pro studiopress theme for my site. I have tried a few things but I cannot figure out what I need to do. I think I need to have a custom image create for a specific size and then upload it, but I am not sure if my theme will have it go across the full width of the page.

    My site is http://www.collegeadmissionadvising.com

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    Matt

    I'd like to try and help you but the links in your post aren't working.

    Generate Pro supports header images of the size 360?—140 pixels. If you want an image that spans the full width of the page, that will involved changing some CSS code. Once I can see your links to understand exactly what you're trying to do, I can help more.

    Jeff,

    Thank you for the response. Let me try this again. I am not sure they will show up as links in here, so you might just need to type the url?

    Here is the webage header I would like to try and duplicate in my fashion: http://kathiminsky.com/

    My site is http://championcollegeadvising.com/

    Thank you for trying to help!

    In your style.css, add:

    .site-header .wrap {
        max-width: 100%;
    }

    This will let your site header area span the full width of the page. Now do you have an image you're trying to use or are you just going to use a background color?

    Jeff,

    Thank you sir. I am 100% new to wordpress. Is there a video I can watch that will show me how to do that you might know of?

    I can have my graphic designer create an image. I just need to know the dimensions and file type allowed as well.
