    Hi,

    I want to change the color of the words "Search this website" in the search form.

    Any idea how I can do that?

    Thanks.

    Link to your site please.

    You can inspect any element of your search box to find the classes and CSS which you can change in your browser using an app like Firebug

    Hi Maria,

    I guess you want to change the color of the placeholder text.
    You may achieve it by adding this css to your child theme.

    ::-webkit-input-placeholder {
       color: green;
    }

    :-moz-placeholder {
       color: green;
    }

    ::-moz-placeholder {
       color: green;
    }

    :-ms-input-placeholder {
       color: green;
    }

    Thanks. It worked.

    I've now used Firebug to improve may design throughout my blog. Thanks a lot for the tip, Brad.
