    I just switched to the Copyblogger Child Theme and love it except for one thing. The text in the widget area, such as the list in "Golf Articles"

    off my homepage appears to have an inset font and it's too light. How can I change this? I have used Firefox's firebug, and have been through the

    css file and cannot find anything. Would appreciate some advice.

    One of the reasons why it appears light is because there is a text shadow on it. The code, which can be found with Firebug is:

    .sidebar {
    font-size: 13px;
    line-height: 20px;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px #FFFFFF;
    }

    Just delete the text-shadow line and you will see that it appears darker now.

    If you want the font to be bold, add this to that area.

    font-weight: bold;
