Host resource use issue

I just ported my site (flourarrangements.org) to genesis. I'm now getting complaints from my host (inmotion) about my resource use. I am using W3TC and have pretty OK page speeds. At what level of traffic do people experience resource problems on shared hosting? I'm only looking at a few hundred users a day right now and wondering if I need to move to a different host company or if this is too much for shared hosting.

Shared hosting is really for beginners.

At some stage you'll need to move on to another type of hosting like Managed, VPS, or dedicated depending on how much resources your site uses.

Its common for WordPress users to try and speed up page loading times on shared hosting using caching plugins etc however there's only a certain amount of resources each server provides.

I think if you can get good speed for $30 a month, you're doing well.

I totally understand those points, but I guess my question is "what's the line between beginners and that next stage?"

Currently, my page loads times are perfectly acceptable. A few hundred users per day seems like it should be in the beginner range, but I'm not sure.
