    Hi all,

    After installing the genesis framework along with the genesis sample child skin, my page load time has increased exponentially.

    I now find that I am not able to log into my wp-admin, it hangs and eventually I get a 500 internal server error message.

    The only think I did was update a short code in the stylesheets for the nav menu, that is all...

    Can someone please assist me, this has been dreadful. Here is the site: theheadlock.com

    Please, please, please HELP! thanks!

    Note: just to add, I had the thesis framework prior to this. Don't know if that helps or not.

    Hello , try to clear and deactivate w3total cache plugin.

    Get your web host to check error logs and ask about the php allocation for your account.

    Try by ftp:
    edit wp-config.php and delete (or comment // ) define('WP_CACHE', true);

    I instead, went into my htaccess file and renamed the file name to htaccessold and this resolved the issue of the admin panel not showing up.

    It seems there was a plugin that might have disrupted the file, I'm not sure.

    However, crawling around the admin panel is EXTREMELY slow. Do we know what else could have an effect on this?

    Ever since uploading the genesis framework + child theme, everything has been acting a bit wonky. Again I note that I had thesis before, not sure if this is of any significance or not.
