    Hi
    I am new to Genesis but I have been getting the home page setup fairly easily until I tried adding the home page top, middle and bottom widgets. When I add a post to these widgets nothing appears and i have checked the appropriate images. The sidebar looks great. I have my site set up with post as home page(though i tried it with a static page and the same thing happens) I am using genesis 2.4.2

    On the home page not is just blog post and sidebar
    Any thought on why this is not appearing?

    I also notice when i go to appearances > customize > widgets
    the only widgets there are header right, primary side bar, footer 1 , footer 2, footer 3,

    Which theme are you using? Are your other pages displaying correctly?

    Have you deactivated your plugins to rule out a conflict?

    To answer your second question - not all themes display all widgets in Appearance > Customize > Widgets. To view all available widgets, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

    I just figured out the cause of this. I created another child theme on top of the child magazine pro, not realizing it was already a child. So now everything is as it should be! Thanks for your help.
