Using WP version 3.5.1 and Focus Theme.

I have tried to add a couple of plugins to the posts on the front page that I know will work with excerpts. GD star rating plugin and Share This plugin. I can't get the info to show up under the excerpts. Are these "teasers" in the genesis grid loop not traditional excerpts?

Also, is there anyway to have the post info (date, author) show at the bottom of this excerpt?

You should be able to install the Genesis Simple Edits plugin and move the shortcodes for the post info into the after post meta position

I have already done that, Brad, but I really need it to show up on the excerpts on the home page. Any ideas on how to make that happen.

I tested this locally and it does. Looks like you have a custom coded home page which may have something to do with it.

Here is a copy of the home.php code.

I have changed a couple of things such as # of featured images, grid content limit and the more tag.

Should changing these 3 things cause this? If so, I'll reconsider the changes.

I put the original home.php file back on the site. That's not the problem. The features at the top show the social icons and the ratings that are supposed to show on excerpts, but the excerpts are not showing anything under the "continue reading".

I can remove the the home.php file altogether and set this up as a traditional blog, but client wants the columns on the home page. That's why I chose this theme with the grid loop. Thanks.
