Home-Middle : Center Fewer Columns?

Hi all,

I'm developing a site with the Education Pro child theme (http://dev.washingtonparks.net), and I'm looking at setting up several columns in the home-middle widget.

Unfortunately, as things stand now, I only need three columns there, and it looks off-kilter.

I was wondering, is it possible to center the home-middle widget, allowing fewer columns without the whole thing looking wonky?

Yes, this is possible.

Place only three widgets in Home Middle.

Modify your CSS as follows:

Find this in your child theme stylesheet and change 25% to 33% for width.

.home-middle .widget {
	float: left;
	padding: 0 20px;
	text-align: center;
	width: 25%;
}

Because of the odd number of widgets some wonkyness appears on tablets at 1023px. You can correct this by tweaking the media query for 1023px - change 50% to 100%:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {
	.home-middle .widget {
		  width: 50%;
	}
}
