I could use some help. First off, I am not educated on code, so bear with me.
I have Magazine Pro and am building my website. Have the first bunch of posts done, and the SEO is 'green' per Yoast.
When I preview the site, all looks good (so far). But when I go to the Home Page, it is a bunch pf code in the editor 'visual' screen. So the Yoast SEO is saying my site cannot be indexed and the SEO is of course 'red'.
The home page has widgets (set up just like the demo).
One thing to mention, when I first was trying to build the site, I used the X-Theme (decided that was not what I needed), so I switched to Magazine Pro. I have deactivated the Cornerstone editor.
Can anyone help me understand what I need to do to get the SEO and Index to work for the home page. The posts in the widgets that show up on the preview of the home page have the SEO completed, but when trying to edit the home page on the back end, its all code and non-indexed.
Ok, I got the Front Page sorted out
So my remaining question is:
My Front Page is only widgets (just as the Magazine pro demo). The content within the widgets are my posts. Those posts have the SEO completed.
How do I get the SEO to work from the front page, if ALL the content is solely the widgets?
