New user here with several questions. Im at a work stoppage with a looming deadline. Help! 🙂 I have tried to install the Listing search: Property widget into the sidebar "Top Search" box. It installs, however there are no fields to check under the words : Include these taxonomies in the search widget" as shown in the tutorial.
I have blank field for the Button Text, but no options for selecting the taxonomies. I have uploaded one listing (do i need more?) and created taxonomies.
Secondly, I mislabeled one of my taxonomies by assigned the unique ID as 0. I can not delete it. I get the message "Sorry partner, but that does not exisit..." I can see it, but not delete it. Could this be screwing up my taxonomy population in the widget box?
Any help would be most welcome.

November 18, 2012 at 8:10 pm #637CurtTampaMemberOk... I think I see the new flow. Forgive me. Im used to a different "forum" style where as members help members. This new set up looks like a trouble ticket with associated delays that limited resources create. I was hoping for more realtime from online members. Â Is there a section for newbies to hash out the finer points of getting started with the themes? Im stuck beyond the published tutorials. I'm excited with the prospects of using the Genesis and Child Themes that I'm plunking down several hundred dollars (themes and widgets) as a solution to a project, but I really need to move faster than (up to) 48 hours on weekends. Please don't take this the wrong way.. the old forum looks great and is full awesome stuff. But I just spend an hour getting shuffled around... if the old forum is going read only - is there a member to member option? Â Your note to "please submit this question to the support desk" Â is understood but does that mean I shouldn't asks for help on the forum? Â Or is this in addition to? How is my questions and your answers going be posted public to help others? Just trying to understand the new system. Thanks and keep up the great effort.
November 18, 2012 at 9:13 pm #639SoZoMemberQuestions in relation to installing and setting the themes up (as seen in the demos) should be submitted through the official help desk. Any other questions, e.g. regarding customization, integrating third party plugins, etc., will not be handled through the help desk so should be submitted through the new public forums. As a public forum you can ask any question you want. However there is no guarantee that you will receive support/answer from a StudioPress employee. Since that is now handled through the help desk.
And there hasn't been a change in the timing of support. There was always a disclaimer that questions submitted may take up to 48 hours to receive an answer. Also the same people that were manning the old forums are monitoring the help desk so there really shouldn't be any change in official support.
