    Hello Fellow Studio Pressers:

HELP! I am very technically challenged so bear with me.

Until I get consistent with my blogging, I don't want to post a blog date, you know, so I don't look like a flake. 🙂

It seems I can't save the post unless there is a date involved.

Anybody know the trick to getting rid of the date?

Or do I need to get some white out? 🙂

Hopefully, this is a simple request.

    Appreciate your valuable time.

    Donna

You can just remove the post date until you feel comfortable http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-info/#customize.

This requires editing the functions.php file, and if you make a mistake and do this through the WP dashboard editor you will get the white screen of death and have to call your hosting company to tell them what you did so that they can correct it, as you will no longer have access to the WP dashboard.

I would recommend first of all making a copy of the functions file and learning how to use FTP then uploading the functions file that way. If you have made a mistake, you can always upload the original functions file to correct it and then figure out what you did wrong.

Thank you so much. I installed Genesis Plugin Simple Edits and it did the trick.

    Appreciate your time.
