    hi

    I updated to Genesis 2.0
and noticed I use Eleven 40 old theme @
    http://www.codrutturcanu.com/

    I also updated to Eleven40-Pro
and now I see my theme changed
    from blue color to orange
    and the footer disappeared completely

    Why is that?

    Codrut.

Eleven40 PRO is not really an upgrade to your Eleven40. It is a total new theme with the name Eleven40 PRO. It isn't to be used as an "upgrade" but as an entirely new theme.

but why when I log into my membership I see links for it?

I am not sure what you membership entails as this is the community forum. Since they decided to create the Eleven40 PRO which is now a more advanced HTML5/CSS3 theme, - they provided it to you in the dashboard in case you want to switch to the PRO version, but your customizations will not roll over. You will have to modify the CSS again in the PRO version.

Hi Codrut, I'm in a similar situation as you. I did the upgrade to Genesis 2.0 and to to the Pro theme. Fortunately I was expecting it to fail 🙂 Overall, it did OK... required me to change colors, etc again. But just like you I'm also missing the footer and cannot seem to get it back. I've tried adding widgets to the three different footers, etc and no go. My website is located here: http://consultantmindset.com/. Any ideas??

@mattbeglinger, do you have content in the footers right now? If not, can you put some things in there so we can take a look?

I think I just figured it out... you must have a widget in your first footer otherwise it will not show. For example I only had something in footer 2 and 3 and it wouldn't show them. Once I added a widget to footer 1 the footer then displayed... Odd.
