Header size issue with Legacy theme

I am having a problem with the header logo image in the Legacy theme. I set the logo last month and everything was great until I updated to WP3.5. Now it resizes the logo image to 960x100, even though the original size is 500x100.

Any idea what I can do? Currently, I have no header image.

You can change the header image size in the functions.php file but I recommend just making your header full width, then putting hte logo on the left.
