    Hey guys

I'm building a site using the aformentioned theme, WP 3.6 and Genesis 2.0.

I've opted to use an image logo for the header and changed the setting in the theme settings accordingly. The tutorial files for the theme state states that I should then go to appearance > header menu to upload an image file. This tab however does not appear...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I wrote a tutorial on how to do this because you firstly need to remove the default before adding support for a custom header.

Another option is to test out the new Eleven40 Pro version of the theme locally as it makes adding a header image for your logo easier than the old version.

Hey Brad and thanks for the insights. Actually, I thought I was using the very latest Eleven40, ver 1.1?

Anyhoo, found your tutorial so I'll have a look at that now.
Nice site b.t.w. - lots of good info there!

No worries. The new Pro version is slightly different to the Eleven40 theme as it includes a different header function and styling.

I'm having an issue here as well. I did your tutorial, Brad, but I changed some things around. My goal is to get the logo above the header bar (using the header right widget). I like using that widget because the background stretches the length of the screen, unlike primary and secondary menus.

I want the logo to be above that bar and centered. I've done your first steps, and adjusted the logo size in functions.php I, too, was using Eleven40 1.1 and decided to switch. I was able to fix the logo in 1.1, but not Pro.

I just need to make the logo separate from that nav bar on a white background. Everything I try makes the nav bar too fat and drops it down on top of my body content. Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks.
