    I changed the CSS #header and was expecting it to display my image in the background all the way accross the top.

    Using Firebug, I see that it is getting overwritten:

    #header {

        background: url("") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;

    }

    #header {

        background-image: url("http://texas-hill-country-homes.com/images/header-bg.jpg");
        background-position: center top;
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        margin: 0 auto;
        min-height: 145px;
        width: 100%;

    }

    I did a cut and paste and all to the background tags in the bottom #header is getting overridden by the #header on top.  So I get no image.

    The bottom header is from style.css, but the top one says it comes from my domain (http://texas-hill-country-homes.com)....

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,  Tom

    I figured it out.  All I did was comment this area out in my functions.php

    /** Add suport for custom background
    add_custom_background(); */

    /** Add support for custom header

    add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 125, 'textcolor' => '333' ) );*/

    Hope it helps someone else.
