    On my site using the Prose theme I am trying to implement a longer ad banner and I want to move the banner and the search option higher up in the header bar so that there is no additional space beneath my logo. I wondered if you could point me to the right direction. Many thanks.

    Hi,

    Look for this in your style.css

    #header .widget-area {
    float: right;
    padding: 40px 0 0;
    width: 480px;
    }

    And change the padding value.

    Hope this helps

    Hi

    Thank you for your help. I've not used style.css before. Is it the 40px that I would change or the 0 0; figures?

    Hi,

    yes change the 40px value should do the trick for you, dont forget to backup your style.css first, just in case something goes wrong 🙂
