    My hamburger on mobile, quotation marks inside a post are all suddenly showing up as hexidecimal.

    I assume this is a Genesis setting - can any one point me towards where this can be reset?

    Thank you, Mike Collins.

    Hi,
    Looks like you have some incorrect code in your style.css for that.

    Find this area in your style.css

    .responsive-menu-icon::before {
    color: #fff;
    content: "& #092;f333";
    display: inline-block;
    font: normal 20px/1 'dashicons';
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 10px;
    }

    And change the content line to this:

    content: "\f333";

    That should correct it.

    Thanks Jackie,

    Here is what currently shows in the Style.css:

    .responsive-menu-icon::before {
    color: #fff;
    content: "\f333";
    display: inline-block;
    font: normal 20px/1 'dashicons';
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 10px;
    }

    However, the styles seem to have "slipped" in a number of other areas too e.g. my quotation function now shows a hex code in posts rather that the big "

    Will your suggestion just take care of the Hamburger problem or a wider problem?

    Thanks, Mike.

    That may be an issue with the editor you are using to add the code, or where you copied it from. I would suggest changing the code as I've shown and refreshing the browser to see what's what.

    In the inspect element of my browser it is not showing correctly in the css. When I changed it manually in the browser, the icon appeared correctly.

    Thank you for your help on this - however, when I put the code you suggest:

    " \f333 "

    it always reverts back to:

    " \f333 "

    after saving the style.css file.

    Mike.

    Trying using a plain text code editor to edit the style.css outside of WordPress - maybe your browser has a different character setting and resaved everything differently? I do not recommend editing any WordPress files in the backend. Internationalization?
