I'm using Gary Jones & Bill Erickson's improved Grid Loop in my child theme.  I've got the grid working nicely, but I'm struggling with figuring out how I can target my post classes when using add_actions and remove_actions.  For instance, let’s say I want my featured post to have an excerpt, but I want my grid posts to hide the excerpt.

    Thanks,

    -Mike

Hey Mike, just happened to stop by the forums and saw your question. Have you seen Bill's tutorial on modifying the grid loop content? He has a function in there that replaces the_content() with the_excerpt().

As for custom CSS classes on each post, you can modify them child_grid_loop_post_class() function here:

    Hi Blogjunkie,

Sound like you know what you're doing! I don't suppose you can advise on this problem?
