Google Webmasters Tools is reporting that I have over 12,000 not found urls.

A large portion of these are for tags that I am removing from my site. For a couple of years I used an autotagging plugin that

resulted in me racking up almost 100,000 tags. I'm slowly removing them. But removing them is causing 404 errors.

Do you think that flagging the tags - nofollow would help. If so, do you know how I'd about doing that.

    thanks,

    Sharon

Are you using the default Genesis SEO settings, or an SEO plugin? I don't know if you can have Google "unindex" them quickly or time soon or not, but I think what you want is the "noindex" flag.
