    My blog uses the Landscape theme and I used to code my recipes by hand for rich snippets yet it never appeared to work. Recently I've installed Easy Recipe plugin and that strange thing is that for this page

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=blue+cheese++sauce&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

    (look for greedygourmet.com) there is no accompanying thumbnail or rating.

    Yet, for this post:

    https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&tab=ww#hl=en&tbo=d&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=brown+onion+paste&oq=brown+onion&gs_l=hp.3.0.35i39j0l3.21378.22766.0.23638.11.8.0.0.0.0.757.4300.3-2j2j3j1.8.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.2.hp.FAkLW6MMOVU&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42080656,d.Yms&fp=c26017bd2ad2bf1a&biw=1920&bih=897

    The image thumbnail appears.

    The difference between the 2 pages is that the former received comments and the latter hasn't.

    In the rich snippet testing tool the former has only one warning:

    http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.greedygourmet.com%2Frecipes-by-course%2Fside-dish%2Fbrown-onion-paste%2F&html=

    The latter creates the following:

    http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.greedygourmet.com%2Frecipes-by-course%2Fside-dish%2Fblue-cheese-sauce%2F&html=

    It looks as if there is something funny going on with the hcard, if that is the problem Truth be told, I don't have a clue what to do.

    Please help!

    I am not familiar with Easy Recipe plugin. I use Genesis itself for the Google Authorship and have no problems.

    Here is a tutorial: http://www.copyblogger.com/wordpress-google-authorship/
