    Hi
Could anyone recommend a tutorial or plugin for displaying a map on a word press site? I had a freelance developer develope a custom map. Unfortunately, I cannot get it through his head that I can't figure how to embed the map on my website. I tried different tutorials but nothing Is clicking.

How did they create the custom map? What type of code is it?

If a Google map is cool with you, you can easily create and embed one.

You set up the map you want in Google maps, then click on the Settings wheel icon at the bottom right of the screen and choose "Share and embed."

Go to the embed tab, and you'll see an iframe shortcode. Copy that shortcode and put it wherever you want the map in any WordPress page or post. Just make sure the WordPress editor is set to the text tab, not the visual one.

And you'll have a lovely map on your page or post!

Please feel free to ask more questions or give more specifics if this solution isn't what you want.

    Best of luck!
