I am trying to setup google authorship on my site and it is working fine for all the posts I have made, I am using the Yoast SEO plugin and it enables you to put your Google+ profile agains your username.

However this does not work for the home page.

I just need to get a line of code in the head of that page

rel=author - googleprofilehere

Does anyone know how I can get a line of code in just the head of the homepage?

I have had one suggestion to do
genesis_meta hook via the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin and make it conditional for is_home()

Try using the WordPress Users Setting for Google +

Go to Users > Your Profile > Contact Info > Google+

Genesis has added this to the core recently.
