    Hi All

    I wonder if it has anything to do with Godaddy WP hosting, I just signed up for their managed WP hosting account, but I am unable to install Genesis framework, it keeps generating the following error message:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

    Plugin install failed.

    Has anyone experienced the same problem with Godaddy or is this because of some other problems that prevent me from installing Genesis plugin? I downloaded the 2.1.2 version which I think is the most current one.

    Or is that because there is a limit how many times I can use the Genesis plugin zip folder? I read the FAQ section and it says unlimited use, this is my second install and I wonder if this is what causing the problem and maybe I need to purchase yet another copy of Genesis ??

    Any help would be appreciated

    Are you installing Genesis from Appearance > Themes > Add New?
    Genesis is a theme, not a plugin.

    I've had no issues installing Genesis as a theme on any of the GoDaddy plans.

    Never mind, I am sorry, stupid me I upload Genesis as a plugin, it should have been uploaded as a theme.
