Whenever the latest update for Genesis comes available, I am literally getting thousands of notification emails. For example, since last night I have received, literally, over 3,000 emails that 2.2.3 is now available from a particular website. They just keep coming until I update. The last update several weeks ago, the same thing.

Does anyone have any idea why?

I would follow up with your host. It seems their SMTP server is generating an issue.

This won't be a Genesis issue.
