    Hello,

    I'm trying to use a service by Shuffler.FM that will turn the music posted on my blog into a playable radio station. Shuffler.FM provided me with HTML verification code that I've placed in several different spots within my blog but their crawler is unable to find it. Has anyone had any experience with this and can help me troubleshoot the problem. Shuffler.FM has some listed possible issues that are common.

    Thanks in advance for any help with this.

    Is your website getting indexed by the other search engines? If not you may have inadvertantly set it to be hidden so you could check that first.

    If you post a link to your website it may help diagnose what is happening. Also you could try adding the plugin they mention - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pushpress/

    Hello,

    I tried that plugin to no avail and also I get traffic from google so I'm pretty sure that im not hidden I don't think. Any other ideas of how I can get this to work?

    Thanks

    You said you placed the code in "several different spots" - where, exactly, did you do so? Did you try the Genesis -> Theme Settings -> Footer Scripts section (very bottom of page)?

    I did put it in the genesis header scripts. I will also try the bottom now.

    Thanks

    Not sure if this is it, but in some JS code in your footer, the slash characters are escaped, which doesn't look right to me - e.g.,

    WPCOM_sharing_counts = {"http:\/\/onlytherealest.com\/daft-punk-ft-pharrell-nile-rodgers-get-lucky-preview-video\/":8360

    I'm just guessing if that's it.

    The other step to try is disable your other plugins and then try again - it could be a conflict (JetPack is one that seems a little suspicious).

    I'm totally no expert, but those are where I'd start looking.

    ETA: By "suspicious" re JetPack, I just mean based on its proximity to the JS with those funky URLs, and also because I've had a plugin conflict with JetPack before that caused me to remove it - obviously it's a good plugin from a reputable company!
