I've been working with Genesis seriously for the past six months, I really enjoy working with it and don't have any plans to switch because I think it's the best framework going. However every so often I hit a wall and troubleshoot a problem until it makes sense. Or doesn't, and start over. Time isn't always a luxury so I take short-cuts, experiment with plugins, and ask questions. But I'm still learning. My question is directed at the veteran Genesis developers, the ones who have been at this for a while, who's names are on the walls, how long did it take you to be good at this, and at what point did it all click? Would love to hear some points of view from the front lines.
