    You updated the translation plugin two times this week. In the first update, you fixed two things that was wrong for the Swedish translation..But now when I did the last update, itΒ΄s back as it was before.. What happened? Are you working on fixing this or do you need to know which strings you need to correct again?

    I need for my site 3 languages and that is English, Dutch and Indonesian.
    I was testing the waters how the translation is working.
    By experience I found out that there is not one that does a proper job.
    I am able to speak 5 languages, that is why I am looking for a translater that gives my friends and familie the option to read any article on my site in their language.

    Thank you.

    @RGeenen. The translation plugin is for the strings used in Genesis itself. For your own articles you will need something like http://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/google-translate.

    @RGeenen.
    Follow up: A plugin that offers you Google Translate for each and every page: http://wordpress.org/plugins/sz-google/.
    It does a nice job. The translations itself are rather modest but if you can find anything better let me know.

    Hi Remkus,

    I'd like to translate the News Pro theme, that's not translated in my language. I sent you an email so that you can explain me what to do exactly. Thanks.

    Hi everyone.

    On this eleven40Pro theme at http://jaredfreyer.com, I have done the following to change this blog to a German one, but it still displays english:
    1. Edited the wp-config.php file to define('WPLANG','de_DE');
    2. uploaded the German .po and .mo to the languages folder in wp-content/languages
    3. uploaded the German Genesis translation .mo and .po files to the languages folder in the themes/genesis/lib/languages/ folder as well as the themes/eleven40pro/languages/ folder.

    I also installed Remkus' Genesis Translations plugin, but it also made no difference?

    Any idea where the problem could be?

    thanks,
    Riggie

    I installed the plugin Genesis Translation. After that, I open the wp-content/plugins/genesis-translations/, under which I found the genesis20 folder and genesis-translations folder. I'm confused when I saw there are po and mo files under both of the two folders.
    Last Nov, I finished the zh_CN translation on https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/genesis-translations/stable/zh-cn/default. I think the latest version of the plugins hasn't included my translation, is that right ?
    My question is, does the translation on page https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/genesis-translations/stable/zh-cn/default include ALL the files as placed in the wp-content/plugins/genesis-translations/genesis20 and wp-content/plugins/genesis-translations/genesis-translations ?

    Thanks for your help.

    I have downloaded .po file, create traslation and upload po+mo file to:
    /wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/languages/

    Nothing seems to work. I tried with names:
    genesis-framework-genesis-3.1-sl_SI.mo
    genesis-framework-genesis-3.1-sl_SI.po

    genesis-genesis-3.1-sl_SI.mo
    genesis-genesis-3.1-sl_SI.po

    genesis-sl_SI.mo
    genesis-sl_SI.po

    Any idea what is wrong, should I do something else?

    Sorry, this is not really a reply.
    Just want to say that I'm having the same problem for months and at least the last three Genesis updates.

    For some reason the custom translation is not loaded anymore.

    Hi,

    I tried to use the Genesis Translations plug in, but I wasn't able to do that. Is this plug in still available ? Any idea how to translate Eleven 40 Child Theme in another way ?

    Best Regards

    Hi,
    I'm using Genesis Sample Child Theme for my website. There is a couple line of code in function.php:

    	load_child_theme_textdomain( genesis_get_theme_handle(), get_stylesheet_directory() . '/languages' );

    I know this mean .po and .mo file must upload to wp-content/themes/genesis-sample/languages but I try to upload it to different folder wp-content/languages/themes and name the .po and .mo file genesis-sample-vi and website still translate.
    Any idea why it still working no matter the code above?
