    Hi. I wanted to report that the Genesis Team probably should hold off recommending Genesis Simple Sidebars. Its throwing an error on all themes, including Digital Pro which is the one I'm using now to setup a new site.

    Its the same error that has been reported in this forum, regarding the plugin on line 105 and 107. I manage a lot of wordpress sites and the only way I've been able to keep my custom sidebars until such time on different sites that I have time to tackle the issue, is to not update it to the latest version. I don't have time right now to research all the details to provide here, but I did reach out to Nathan Rice on his website and if he responded, I never saw it.

    My question here is: WILL ANYONE UPDATE THAT PLUGIN TO WORK IN THE LATEST WORDPRESS VERSION?

    And also if that answer is NO: WHAT IS A GOOD CUSTOM SIDEBAR PLUGIN THAT WORKS AS WELL AS GENESIS SIMPLE SIDEBARS USE TO WORK?

    Thanks very much. If you want to research the error, just go to the search field in this forum and type Genesis Simple Sidebars. I scanned through and saw one or two on the first page that reference the error. but it didn't seem like anyone really knew about the problem on the staff. Hopefully this will help.

    I'll provide a URL but I'm not going to leave that site with an error showing. I have it installed and active, but found a work around a few weeks ago. If I update it, the error returns. So I have to upload the "FIX" plugin.php file. So know that the error is real, and that WordPress shows that it has not been tested with the latest version of WordPress. THANK YOU,.

    you should contact the official Studiopress support at my.studiopress.com/help.

    This is a community forum and technical issue like this are best suited for the support team.
