Genesis Simple Share: Pinterest button not working

Hi,

I recently switched to using Genesis Simple Share buttons and I'm having trouble with the Pinterest button not pinning. I've also noticed that it's not always showing the correct number in the counter. I've pinned every post once and some say zero.

I've had this same problem with some of the other plugins I've tried so I'm wondering if it's from the Pinterest end or if it's conflicting with something in my theme? I use Beautiful Pro theme.

I'm getting this message when I try to pin something:

"We're having some trouble talking to i2.wp.com. Please try again later!"

It's not consistent. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

Hi, I am on the latest version of the plugin and it appears to be working okay on my site. Are you still having issues with Pinterest?

I get a message alert saying "Upgrade to the new Pin It button for Firefox." So, upgrading should do the trick for you.

Thank you both. I switched plugins for now because I'm having trouble using the genesis simple share buttons on my phone (when I click on them they don't always allow me to share the content). The pin it button seems to be working okay now as far as pinning content, but the counter isn't always accurate.

Since the plugin is a whole set of sharing buttons, I'm not sure what it means to upgrade to the new Pin It button for Firefox. Last I checked, the Genesis Simple Share buttons haven't been updated in 3 months so as far as I know I had the latest version.
