    Hi,

I don't use/worry about SEO much, but I have a post that I'd like to 'optimize', whatever that means.

At the bottom of my post page there are a bunch of SEO options listed in a box called "Theme SEO Settings". When I look for info on those settings, however, I seem to end up on this page, which is different from what I'm seeing at the bottom of my post: https://my.studiopress.com/docs/genesis-seo-settings/

Also, the little questions marks that I think will give me more info in that box don't display anything. (Broken?)

Can someone point me to a page that explains all the options for Genesis SEO per individual post? I've run multiple searches and haven't found anything that correlates exactly with what I'm seeing. (I have the latest Genesis and theme updates.)

    Thanks.

Yea, that documentation is talking about the SEO settings for your full site under the Genesis menu, not on a post which I think is what you are looking for.

Check out this article that covers the per-post settings:

I recommend installing the free plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast, now called Yoast SEO - it will give more guidance for those settings and will overwrite the Genesis ones with it's own.

    Thanks Ginger -- great link!

It's also no wonder I rarely worry about SEO -- so complicated.... 🙂
