    Hi all,
    I have seen the other threads on this subject but I am struggling to get a decent sized header on my website.

    My WP install and themes are up-to-date and I installed the Genesis Framework followed by Genesis Sample theme.

    I firstly uploaded a header 600x160px as advised, but it was too small on the page.

    Then I uploaded a header 1200x320px as I read that you need to upload double the size.

    Nothing changed.

    Next, in functions.php I amended the custom header width and height as below:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    'width' => 1200,
    'height' => 320,
    'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
    'header-text' => false,
    'flex-height' => true,

    But still the header is the same size, too small!

    Here is the site:

    Any help is appreciated, though I will add that I am not great at coding but can edit the existing .css etc

    Thanks

    Once you edit the PHP then you also need to edit the CSS under the Site Header section in style.css.

    There's maybe 1 or more values which need editing.
