    Hello,

    My site is http://www.bgemagazine.com.  I am using the Genesis Responsive Widget on my home page.  Is there a way to adjust the height of the content excerpt bar?  It seems just a tad to high.  The font of the text in the bar is fine, its just the bar.  Also, is there a way to make that same bar a little more transparent---reduce its opacity so we can see the image of the photo below?

    Thanks,

    Michael

    Look for this in your style.css. Change the padding to something more like 5. Change the opacity to something like .08.

    #content .slide-excerpt {
    background-color: #222222;
    border-left: 1px solid #333333;
    border-top: 1px solid #333333;
    margin: 0;
    opacity: 1;
    padding: 10px;
    }
