My English/Spanish site has a Genesis Responsive Slider on the home page. The slides have content embedded in the images, meaning that I need to use a different set of slides on the Spanish-language site than on the English-language site. Is there any way to accommodate this?

It can be done with WPML through taxonomy translation.
In the slider settings you choose the category (primary language) of posts to show in the slider.
The category must be translated to spanish.
When the post is translated to the secondary language it should show up when that language is chosen.
