Hi - I have the Crave theme - and installed the Genesis Resposive Slider.

I added the widget to the Home Top area - and set it to Posts (as per the instructions here: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/crave/#demo-full )

However, only my home page shows - no slider.

Can anyone please help me get to the bottom of this? Are there any more specific instructions on setting it up?

    All the best, Mark

Hi - thank you for that Stefanie.

Those instructions were helpful, but the slider still won't appear in my Home-top page.

When I go to Appearance -> Widgets - I only see:

    Primary Sidebar
    Home Top
    Home Middle
    Home Bottom

...I don't have Home - Slider as shown in the video you pointed me to.

I have dragged the Genesis - Responsive Slider widget into all of the page parts mentioned above - and it does show in the Primary Sidebar - just not on any of the Home parts.

Thanks again for your help, and any other suggestions.

Put it in home top and make sure you didn't select a static page for the homepage. You can change this at: Administration > Settings > Reading

Hi Jones - thank you - that did it.

However, now instead of text I want to show under the slider - it's showing blog posts.

Is there no way to have the slider and specific content I want to show?

    All the best, Mark

Never mind - figured it out - by adding a text widget to Home Middle - it overrides the blog posts.

Thanks again to you both for your help,

    Mark
