Does anyone in here know how to make this plugin work so my portfolio shows up on my menu page that says, 'our work' I have made a portfolio item, made a featured image, put some images in the page, but then what? I want it to appear under a specific menu called 'our work' If you have whatever I am missing please share. Thank you.

    Hi

The plugin includes a archive template which you can link to as a custom link in your menu and name it anything you like.

Hi Brad - can you give me a little more information on where that archive template is and how to use it? I am not understanding. Thank you very much!

Hi - I understand that: http://dev.meyerbennettcreative.com/portfolio will produce the page but I want the portfolio work to show up on: http://dev.meyerbennettcreative.com/ourwork

Can you tell me how to do that?

    Thank you.

You can't do that with the plugin because it uses the WordPress Template Hierarchy to load the template.

Why do you want to do that?

Maybe I'm just not understanding.... IDK - When I made the menu bar up at the top, I chose to call that page 'Our Work' instead of 'Portfolio' I figured it was one and the same but I just happen to like the words, 'Our Work' in the menu bar better than 'Portfolio'

So when someone goes to my site and clicks on 'Our Work' they will see my portfolio stuff on that page.

What I'm hearing you say is change the menu name to Portfolio and it should work? Is that accurate?

Thanks for taking the time with me.

Create a custom link on the page admin screen and add the link to the custom link in your menu.http://dev.meyerbennettcreative.com/portfolio

From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Menu > Custom Links and add a URL to your portfolio page to any menu.

OK will try that. But just so I'm clear is this so that it can appear on the 'our work' page or is this assuming I will change that menu name to 'Portfolio'

    Thanks
