Hi: I'm building a new site that will feature a portfolio with at least three content types. The Genesis Portfolio Pro plugin looks promising (I've watched the videos), and I would like to use it.
However, the plugin has a warning that it hasn't been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress and may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues.
I will be using Gutenberg on this website.
Does anyone have recent experience with this plugin?
Does anyone have a better recommendation?

Works fine with the latest version of Genesis and many child themes i have tested it with.

    Maybe it doesn't need updating.

Another option is to use code to create the CPT and templates which enables more flexibility of you want custom functionality.
